Last October the teenager looked shocked and thrilled when the old car arrived outside her mother’s home in Highgate, north London.
The young model excitedly inspected the soft-top and sat in it, watched by her smiling mother and father Jefferson Hack, Kate’s former partner.
Kate then took her daughter for a final spin around the block before handing the youngster the keys.

Also at the birthday gathering was Mary Davidson – the mother of actress Sadie Frost – who used to be Lila’s nanny.
Kate was photographed with an identical-looking Mini in September 2001.
At the time, the novice driver drew jokey comparisons to her motor racing namesake Stirling Moss as she spent ten minutes trying to reverse in to a parking space.

She had passed her test only that May. Onlookers in west London’s Notting Hill reportedly saw the model look embarrassed and then giggle with relief when she finally managed to park the car, which had a 1998 number plate.
It is believed to be the same car Kate gave her daughter – and according to the Carnalytics website, it has had four keepers and no change in number plate.
Kate shares daughter Lila with journalist Jefferson, with whom she was in a relationship in the early Noughties.
Jefferson and Kate – who dated from 2001 to 2004 with Lila being born in 2002 – have an amicable relationship and would ensure their daughter spent a regular amount of time with each of them in her childhood.
Back in 2016, Jefferson admitted that despite Lila having two famous parents, she found them both to be ‘deeply uncool’.
Speaking to the Sunday Times Magazine, he explained his daughter keeps himself and her model mother rooted in the ‘real’ world.
Despite her mother’s status as a bonafide British icon, thanks to her status in the fashion industry, and Jefferson’s own achingly cool CV, Lila – wouldn’t label her parents as cool.
‘She thinks me and her mum are deeply uncool,’ he explained. ‘I don’t think her music tastes are cool — Capital radio and Justin Bieber. She keeps me real.’
While Lila still has a good relationship with both parents, she is often seen out with mum Kate as she is signed to her modelling agency.
